AI International is able to offer and advise on a range of materials that offer both anti-static and static dissipative properties. The control of static electrical charges is becoming increasingly important as faster production processes generate more static. The risk of damage from static sparks in such applications as micro-chip production in the semi-conductor industry presents a potentially huge financial cost but the risk of atmospheric explosion has been recognised by the introduction of the ATEX legislation which seeks to reduce the potential.

Semitron ESd

A range of anti-static engineering plastics for a variety of applications. The most popular grade is Semitron 225, an anti-static Acetal.

SciCron Transparent Products

A range of transparent static-dissipative Acrylics, Polycarbonates, PVCs and Polyester films that call be used in flat or heat-formed applications.
Applications include cleanroom glazing, machine guards, enclosures, visors and wind screens & viewing panels.

Epoxy Glass Fabric

A surface-coated 4W/EP grade (fire-retardant FR4) with anti-static coating on one or both sides.
